The Shape of A Minute
The Shape of a Minute was a group exhibition curated by Betsy Reid Willett, bringing together Alli Conrad, Casey Baden, Natalia González MartÃn, and me. The show centered on ephemeral imprints: the momentary, transient shapes the body leaves behind on domestic objects and clothing, and on the materiality of fabric, the way it holds memory and time in its creases, taut hems, and crumpled folds before shifting into its next form. My contribution leaned into this through the quotidian: translating mundane routines into intimate, quietly fantastical snapshots, where a woman’s unconscious imprint on the objects around her becomes its own kind of portrait.
