My Safe Place is my debut solo exhibition at LATITUDE Gallery, built around female identity, bodily significance, and inner strength.

The title "My Safe Place" was chosen because it’s not a stage — it’s a refuge. The women in these paintings aren’t performing strength for an audience; they’re simply existing, unguarded, in a world that belongs only to them. “Safe” here means freedom from the need to prove anything, no armor, no defiance, no hyper-idealized heroics. Just the quiet permission to be gentle, intimate, and whole on one’s own terms. The title names the emotional architecture of the whole show: a sanctuary where strength doesn’t have to look loud to be real.
